This is a simple step-by-step guide that will help you find this peaceful hilltop from different starting points in Islamabad:

  1. From Faisal Mosque

👍🏻 Begin from Faisal Mosque: Head west along the road before the mosque.

👍🏻 Turn left on Margalla Road. Continue straight, and you’ll pass by the entrance toMargalla Hills National Park.

👍🏻 Take a drive up Margalla Hills. Drive up Margalla Hills: Follow Margalla Road as it winds through the hills. The road will eventually take you to the entry point into the Park.

👍🏻 Follow the Signs to Daman-e-Koh. When you ascend, look for signs that direct you to Daman-e-Koh. The way is well-marked, and you’ll soon arrive at the viewpoint.

  1. From Islamabad’s Zero Point
  • Begin from Zero Point Interchange: Take the main road towards Aabpara.
  • Follow the route until Margalla Road: Head north along Aabpara Road, then turn left onto Margalla Road.
  • Continue on Margalla Road: Follow Margalla Road through the park and pass the gates to the entry point.
  • Search for Daman-e-Koh Signs. Follow the signs to Daman-e-Koh as the road climbs towards the hill.

3. From Islamabad International Airport

  • Directions to Islamabad: Follow the main road from the airport and head towards the city.
  • Get on the Expressway Connect to the Islamabad Expressway and head towards Aabpara.
  • Make a left turn on Margalla Road: Follow the directions to Margalla Road.
  • Drive through Margalla Hills National Park. Continue on Margalla Road, following the instructions for Daman-e-Koh.
