A Cultural Journey Through Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad

Pakistan is rich culture, history, and heritage. Out of all its giant populated and picturesque cities, three giant Pakistani cities are Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad and these are with giant amount of food, history, architecture, and good arts. The heart and soul of Pakistan will be a part of three Pakistani cities trip.

Lahore: The Heart of Pakistan

Lahore is the cultural capital of the nation and is full of culture and history. A stroll in old city is an architect’s wildest imagination of such wonders. Badshahi Mosque, Lahore Fort, and Shalimar Gardens are the pinnacles of Mughal extravagances. Walled City is transported back in its winding bazaars, creaking bylanes, and rickety havelis constructed without rhyme or reason.

City heritage is also food heritage. It would be some of that home-made Haleem, Lahori Chargha, and Nihari of Food Street, Gawalmandi, or Fort Road. AlhamduLillah, city heritage are National College of Arts (NCA) and Alhamra Arts Council where drama, music, and fine arts thrive.

Karachi: The Melting Pot of Cultures

Country’s economic capital and largest city, Karachi, is city pride’s multi-culture. Sea beach appearance, Pace of pace with modernization, and old city map are another component of the city’s culture.

Karachi, the most cosmopolitan and biggest city of the country, is a melting pot. Karachi beaches along the seaside, like Clifton Beach and Hawksbay, are an oasis within the city. Karachi has its colonial history in Mohatta Palace, Frere Hall, and Quaid-e-Azam Mausoleum.

Karachi is cosmopolitan cuisine as well. Street cuisine to every destination Biryani, Karachi is food heaven. Cultural activity here too is becoming stronger, and T2F (The Second Floor) and Canvas Gallery are shop window of new-gen artist.

Islamabad: The Serene Capital

Life has Islamabad as the counterpart to Karachi and Lahore. Islamabad is situated under the Margalla Hills and is barely so famous for nature and tranquility. Faisal Mosque, the city’s engineering marvel, is the City’s face.

Depictions of Islamabad culture are Lok Virsa Museum, i.e., where the Pakistan culture has been replicated again in the form of the painting, craft, and folk art. Pakistan Monument symbolizes the peace and unrest of the country. Islamabad café culture, i.e., F-6 and F-7, are replicated in the form of the canvas and wall show of paintings and reading of poetry.
